An elderly woman had justreturned to her home from an evening of churchservices when she wasstartled by an intruder.
She caught the burglarrobbing her home of its valuables and she yelled,
'STOP! Acts 2:38!'( Repent and be baptized, in the name of Jesus Christso that your sins may beforgiven).
The burglar stopped in histracks. The woman calmly called the policeand explained what she haddone.
As the officer cuffed theman to take him in, he asked the burglar, 'Whydid you just stand there?All the old lady did was yell a Scripture toyou.
''Scripture?'replied the burglar. 'She said she had an Ax and Two38's!'
